Week 1 Term 1
Nightcliff Primary School
Dear students, families, and staff,
welcome to the start of a promising new school year at Nightcliff Primary School. As acting principal, I feel both privileged and excited to embark on Term One’s educational journey together! Already teachers and students have embraced learning, growth, and success through professional learning for staff and a quality start up for students.
Thank you to the parents and families who made the start of the school year a success for your child, teacher, and our school. We also acknowledge our admin team who helped organise essential uniforms, book packs and payments for the new school year. If you are yet to claim your Back-to-School Voucher, please see the wonderful admin team before the end of term.
We would also like to thank the School Council Chair, Allen Fanning, and the committee, along with Member for Nightcliff, Natasha Fyles for hosting the 2024 Welcome for families. It was lovely to meet and greet new and returning families.
Welcome back!
Medication
If your child has medication in the school first aid room ie. Asthma, Allergies, Anaphylaxis or any other diagnosed illness, please remember to make sure it is in date and not expired. Please make sure to check with the school front office staff ASAP. Out of date medication cannot be administered.
Community Engagement
As part of our ongoing commitment to coming together as a school community, the school council is keen to hear from you as part of their community engagement work in 2024. This includes having a say in shaping the school improvement plans for 2024 and beyond and supporting student needs as partners in education.
